Cyprus open doors to vaccinated tourists from 65 countries without restriction

Cyprus Tourism Minister, Mr. Savvas Perdios, announced on Monday at Cyprus News Agency that Cyprus will open up to vaccinated tourists from 65 countries starting from the 10th of May, with visitors allowed entry without needing a negative Covid test or undergo quarantine when entering the country.

Cyprus will open its borders to travelers from European Union Μember States and Members of the European Economic Area (including Norway and Iceland), Armenia, Bahrain Belarus, Canada, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Arab Emirates Kingdom and the United States. The travel protocol is based on a traffic-light system of country categorization, with entry requirements varying according to the category.

Vaccination is not a prerequisite for entering Cyprus. However, any traveler able to prove that has completed the vaccination will be able to enter Cyprus regardless its color category, from the 10th of May. Τhe vaccination certificate will be considered valid provided the vaccination has been carried out with one of the vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the required doses of the respective vaccine have been completed, and Sputnik vaccine is also included.

Travelers should upload a copy of their vaccination certificate at Cyprus Flight Pass platform prior to their arrival in the country.

It should be mentioned that Republic of Cyprus reserves the right to randomly test tourists ypon ther arrival, vaccinated tourists included.

Masks and social distancing are mandatory for everyone in countries.
