Antaeus Travel Group is looking for an Accountant Assistant that will support the payroll, VAT procedures, accounting and the department’s day-to-day business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly reports, calculating payroll and VAT, and updating entries in category C books.
Responsibilities:
- Calculating Payroll as well as inserting recruitment & dismissal of employees in the Ergani platform
- Updating accounting entries in C category books
- Carrying out EFKA procedures (ΑΠΔ) monthly
- Calculating VAT, listing & online filing
- Executing GEMI procedures
- Reconciliating bank and credit cards
- Withholding taxes & general GSIS platform use
- Preparing Monthly reports
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Accounting experience (including Accounting entries in C Category Books)
- Fluent in Greek and knowledge of English at C2 level
- Knowledge of Panasoft ERP program, Epsilon Misthodosia or other payroll software (i.e. SAP, Soft1, etc.)
- Excellent Use of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in local tax regulation and accounting
- References to be provided
- Experience in the travel industry is preferred
- Knowledge of German, French or any other foreign language is a plus
