Antaeus Travel Group is looking for an Accountant Assistant with accounting experience in the travel industry that will support the department’s day-to-day business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and verifying invoices.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and verifying invoices
- Reconciliating bank and credit cards
- Boat tickets invoicing
- Client invoicing
- GDS Procedures
- Amadeus Refunds & Void Tickets
- Non-BSP Reconciliation
- Reconciliating with suppliers and communicating with clients
Requirements:
- Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education
- Minimum 2 years of Accounting experience in the travel industry
- Fluent in Greek and knowledge of English at C2 level
- Knowledge of Panasoft ERP program (Travel Force)
- Excellent Use of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in the travel industry will be considered a plus
- Proficiency in local tax regulation and accounting

- Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
- Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services

- Create and update electronic records of clients

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a corporate travel consultant

Responsibilities:
- Book and offer cost-effective travel arrangements to our clients from a varied portfolio of marine & offshore accounts
- Check between various GDS platforms to find the best routes with the best prices
- Handle telephone calls and passengers with dedication and commitment at all times
- Respond promptly to any request maintaining strong service standards
- Bring crew safely & on time to their destinations. Be able to locate, inform and assist crew at any moment with an effective contingency plan.
- Collaborate effectively with the rest of the marine team to provide the best fares
- Ensure all communication both written and verbal is professional, accurate, and conducted in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in marine & offshore travel
- Excellent knowledge of AMADEUS (knowledge of other GDSs will be considered a plus)
- Computer literate with experience of email, MS Office & web-based programs
- Proficiency in English & Greek
- IATA Certificate is a plus
