Greece is among the latest European countries added to the visa-free program for travel to China!
Greek citizens will be able to travel to China visa-free for up to 15 days starting from October 15, 2024. This new regulation applies to both leisure and business visits and will be in effect from October 15, 2024, until December 31, 2025, as part of the trial program.
The visa exemption announcement followed Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s meetings with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis at the UN General Assembly in New York. Wang emphasized the historical ties between Greece and China and called for enhanced cultural exchanges and cooperation to strengthen their strategic partnership.
Other countries added to the visa-free program include Cyprus, Denmark, and Slovenia.
