The UK government has made changes to immigration rules that will be effective since 2025. Among these changes is the requirement of an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) in order to travel to the United Kingdom.

More specifically:

• European visitors will need ETA from 2 April 2025, and the application form will be available from 5 March 2025.
• Qualifying non-European visitors will need ETA from 8 January 2025, and the application form will be available from 27 November 2024.
